As part of the State University of New York, Adirondack Community College (ACC) is a two-year college accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. ACC offers extensive Associate degrees and Certificate programs and practices transfer agreements with numerous Colleges and Universities. Campus highlights include:
ACC is now in the midst of its most exciting, ambitious and regionally important project to date - the construction of a brand new building devoted exclusively to bachelor's and master's degree programs provided in partnership with four-year colleges and universities. Scheduled to open in early 2009, the Regional Higher Education Center at ACC, the first of its kind in the SUNY system, will provide an opportunity for students to earn a variety of advanced degrees completely on the ACC campus. 
Situated in the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains, ACC is conveniently located in Queensbury, New York between Saratoga Springs and Lake George. Abundant in natural resources, the area is surrounded by numerous ski centers, rivers and lakes, and the high peaks region of the Adirondack Mountains. The area is also home to cultural sites such as the renowned Hyde Art Collection, the Lake George Opera Festival and the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
