Who better to learn about SUNY Adirondack from than students? You can schedule a Zoom meeting with any of four student ambassadors in the Admissions Office. Each has a different experience to share with you. Book a time on the calendar below and hear from Dominick, Kiersten, Hannah or Mikayla what you can expect at SUNY Adirondack.
Dominick
2 p.m. Monday
Dominick is a second-year Physical Education major. Dominick lived in the Residence Hall last year, but is attending remotely from his Plattsburgh home for the 2020-21 school year. Dominick is on the baseball team, a student ambassador and, in his free time, enjoys coaching football and baseball.
Kiersten
10 a.m. Wednesday
Kiersten graduated from SUNY Adirondack’s Criminal Justice: Police Science program in Spring 2019. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at the SUNY Plattsburgh branch campus at SUNY Adirondack. Kiersten is a commuter student and is involved on campus as the vice president of the College Activity Board, a representative in the Student Senate and board member of the Faculty Student Association.
Hannah
11 a.m. Thursday
Hannah is a second-year Individual Studies major. She plans to transfer to SUNY Plattsburgh's branch campus at SUNY Adirondack to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is a full-time student, a student ambassador, a resident assistant and a peer coach at the college.
Mikayla
1 p.m. Friday
Mikayla graduated from SUNY Adirondack’s Media Arts program in Spring 2020 and is pursuing a degree in Marketing, Management and Entrepreneurship at SUNY Adirondack. Mikayla is from central New York, approximately three hours away and lives in the Residence Hall, where she works as a resident assistant. Mikayla is also the Marketing & Public Relations chair for the College Activity Board.
